For photographers who feel capable of more.
Our creative mentorship sessions are for photographers who want their work to feel more cinematic, more layered, and more honest. These one-on-one sessions are designed to help you refine your style, strengthen your storytelling, and move closer to the kind of images you’ve been trying to create.
Mentorship for Photographers
We have opened a small number of creative mentorship sessions for photographers who want to move toward a more cinematic, storytelling-driven style. These sessions are centered on refining your eye — how you shoot, how you edit, and how your work feels. Before we meet, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire so we can understand where you’re at and what you want to focus on. Sessions are primarily held virtually via Google Meet.
Our mentorship sessions are built around each student's individual interests and needs. Some photographers may want to explore:
- Shooting with more intention and natural movement
- Creating painterly, layered compositions
- Directing couples in a way that feels honest
- Developing a moody, cinematic edit
- Strengthening gallery consistency
- In-depth portfolio critique
But we can focus on whatever feels most important to you right now — whether that’s technical, creative, or somewhere in between.
Mentorship sessions are currently $50 for the first 5 photographers to book;
once filled the fee will increase to $85/session.
“I left feeling encouraged, inspired, and honestly relieved to finally have direction.”
I had a one-on-one mentorship session with Maggie, and I can honestly say it was one of the most encouraging and refreshing experiences I’ve had in my photography journey.
She helped me clearly identify what was actually holding my work back and, more importantly, gave me practical ways to fix it. I walked away not just with ideas, but with real direction and actionable steps I can start implementing right away.
What stood out most to me was how open and genuine she was. She didn’t gatekeep anything. She shared her workflow, her experiences, and her recommendations with complete honesty and clarity. That kind of transparency is rare, and it made such a difference. In the past, I’ve reached out to professionals and felt like I only got surface-level answers, but this was the complete opposite.
She made sure every single one of my questions was answered before we wrapped up, and even brought up additional topics she knew would benefit me. On top of that, I received a recording of the session, which is incredibly valuable because I can go back and revisit everything as I grow.
To say this mentorship was beneficial feels like an understatement. I left feeling encouraged, inspired, and honestly relieved to finally have direction. If you’re considering working with Maggie, I would absolutely recommend it!
