Meet your photographer
Hi, I’m Maggie—the girl behind Forest Film and the one you’ll see chasing light, calming nerves, and doing whatever it takes to make your session feel easy. I photograph weddings, families, and couples all over the country, and I genuinely love the in-between moments most—the ones that feel quiet and real and completely you.
Before this, I spent years teaching violin, viola, and voice, and I’m still deeply involved in a few local choirs. Music taught me how to pay attention—and that same attention shapes the way I photograph. I notice the way your kid leans into you without thinking, or the glance you give your partner when no one else is looking.
Outside of sessions, I’m usually editing with coffee nearby, chasing my toddler, traveling, thrifting, or making music!
